Bike around the lakes

Biking the area. Make a wonderful biking tour through our area. We can tell you where to rent bikes and give you biking routes. There are routes with different length, you can stay out an hour or a day.

Day 2

Go for a splashing canoe trip!

St. Joseph county is called the River Country for a reason. In this region three rivers come together. Rent a canoe and enjoy the landscape, have outdoor picknicks and meet people who live on the river side.

Day 3

The Amish discovery

Get to know the Amish Contry. Begin your discovery at the Old World Mercantile in Centreville. You'll find a collection of handcrafted items for sale. Travel the back roads of River Country and stop at Amish homes along the way. Enjoy an authentic Amish home cooked meal or go shopping. Get yourself some of the best oak and rustic pine furniture, hand-made quilts, saddles and leather goods or fresh baked breads and cookies! Open at selected times.

Day 4

A relaxed day of golf

River Country has many fine golf courses. You can pick from six different golf courses, each with its own charm and golf challenges.

Day 5 Catch some perch
Little Pleasant Lake is a great fishing location. The peaceful little lake is famous for it's perch and blue gill. Our record fish for this year: a large mouth bass of 22 inches. But we have so many more lakes. You can pick another lake each day and you will have a totally different fishing experience. Lakeside Melodies has boats for rent. More info on our lakes?

Day 6

An arty day

As you can see at Lakeside Melodies we do love our art. We have a small permanent art exhibition at our Music Hall and we like art and photography to decorate our cottages. But there is more. Three Rivers has the Carnegie Center for the Arts.

Day 7

A bit of racing

Car lovers and other speedy people will like the Classic Car museum in Burr Oak. You find 350 vintage cars in this unique collection! It's open by appointment. Or do a bit of racing in the karts center in Mottville.
You want even more speed? Then go for Thunder Valley Motorsports in Jones. The fastest 3/8 mile high-banked D-shaped asphalt oval in the Midwest! Weekly racing May-Oct, featuring fast late models!
