On the agenda of Lakeside Melodies are many artists for 2008.
We are very happy to welcome Patrick Woods, an amazing guitar player from Indiana. It's great seeing and hearing him play with his typical high energy fingers style with the touch of Midas.

Another musician we warmly welcome is Venetia Sekema, coming to Lakeside Melodies this summer.
This singer/songwriter has an extraordinary voice and accompanies herself on the guitar. Describe her style? 'A little bit folk, a little bit blues and a whole lotta soul', says her website.

New CD
Kevin Lockhart and Bill Bosler are working on a new cd. It will be a combination of guitar (Lockhart) and hammered dulcimer (Bosler). The album will be a nice mix of original tunes and some traditional folk songs. They are recording in Paw Paw, Michigan. Lockhart and Bosler plan to release this cd before Summer 2008. The title of the cd is still unknown.

Dulcimer workshops
Bill Bosler gets more and more requests for workshops and private lessons on the hammered dulcimer. Bill offers a unique introduction workshop to the hammered

Musicians welcome
Lakeside Melodies has a growing list of performers, who play here and throughout the area. Bill Bosler: 'We have become a place for jamming and for local and regional artists to meet. So I welcome any musician or singer to contact us for performance possibilities. We're also being asked as a reference for musicians. I hope to build a community of musicians with Lakeside Melodies as their home.' Contact Bill for more information.

Sweet Hollar brought sweet music

Sweet! The five musicians of the band Sweet Hollar did the musical session of the monthly musical dinner at Lakeside Melodies Church. Sweet Hollar brought good blue grass music on stage. After dinner there was a good long jam session.

About Lakeside Melodies Concerts

Our goal?
Lakeside Melodies is a new addition to the Three Rivers area and hopes to provide a venue for a variety of acoustic, folk, bluegrass, country, jazz, and classical music as well as providing visibility and support for a variety of local charities.

Our location?
The event is located in the Music Hall at Lakeside Melodies Resort, 13403 Spence Road, Three Rivers and is handicapped accessible with ample parking. When you get there: it's the big red-brown building in the road curve up the hill.



When you drive up here
Whenever you drive up here for one of our events, please take the route through Hoffman Road, to avoid traffic in our neighborhood. Also when you leave, please take a right turn from the Music Hall and drive through Hoffman Road. It's the quickest and safest way. Thank you!
