Play on the beach

Lakeside Melodies has it's own beach! A nice little sandy beach where you can play and swim in Little Pleasant Lake.
We have a great raft that you can jump and dive from!
Our pier has three row boats and there are two canoes and one paddleboat.

Lots of fun places

You do not want a boring vacation!
You won't!
Lakeside Melodies has lots of fun stuff.
There is a playground with swings and slides.
And how about a game on our basket ball court, next to the big red barn.
You want more? How about some volleyball. There is a nice volleyball court.
You are a soccer kind of guy or girl? We have a nice open grass field to play soccer on.
We also have tether ball and....goofy golf. It's a fun game with golf balls on a string. The more you try the better you get at it.

Watersports

Go swimming on our raft. Or ask your parents if you can rent a canoe or the paddleboat.
And how about catching your own meal for tonight? Little Pleasant Lake is famous for it's fresh fish. You can catch your own perch, bass or blue gill!

Meet our animals

Not just people live here. We have great animals! Meet our ducks, Alex and Maxima. Strange names? Well, they are named after the Dutch royal prince and princess. They live in the duck house on the island in the creek. They are ok with you playing in the creek, but don't disturb their duck house. You wouldn't want anyone barging into your room either!
We also have two cats, Freckles (a bit shy) and White Socks (the adventurous type).
Try to spot a deer in the early morning or at dusk when they come out of the woods. Or wild turkeys, they just walk over the property, pretty cool.

Explore the woods

Are you adventurous?
I bet you are!
Then wander off in the woods at Lakeside Melodies and discover a world of mystery.
You can pick up dead branches for a camp fire, play with the leaves, build a tree hut and play hide and seek. Don't be surprised if our cat Cougar follows you, because she loves to play in the woods.
