A few rules
To
keep every body happy at Lakeside Melodies, we have some rules.

Payments
When you book a cottage you pay 50 percent in advance and 50 percent
the moment you arrive. You can send us a check. |
|
Security
deposit
The security deposit is $ 100. Most people give us a check. This
deposit will be returned at departure. Our friendly request, because
we really do want to give back your deposit: do not alter anything
on the cottage, if there is anything you like to be changed, ask
us first.
A few examples: do not move furniture (like cabinets) around,
do not take out screens or nail things in the walls. Treat our
cottages like you would treat your own place and we will certainly
be happy to return your security deposit. If any damage may occur,
which can happen of course, please tell us honestly and we can
talk about how we can solve the matter. |

Linnens
The price
of your cottage is without linnens, so please bring your own
sheets and towels. |
|
Pets
We love
animals, so pets are welcome to stay with us. There are a few
rules though.
* The pet fee is $ 10 per pet per night. This has to do with
the extra cleaning. We want all our guests to have a pet hair
free vacation.
* Because more people bring their pets, and cats and dogs aren't
always best friends, it's a strict rule that all pets outside
must be on a leash.
* For hygienic reasons and because some guests suffer from asthma,
animals can NOT be kept in bed rooms and pets can not be on
the couch. If you are afraid your pet will jump on the couch,
then please bring a pet cloth.
* Pets should
not be left alone in the cottage, when the guests are going
out. Animals should be under supervision at all times.

Smoking
Smoking
is allowed at Lakeside Melodies, but only outdoors or on your
porch. Again, that way guests who suffer from asthma can enjoy
our resort as well. Please do not litter our beautiful place
with sigaret butts, they are very bad for nature. Throw them
away in your trash can. |

Noise
Of
course we want you to have the best vacation ever. But your
fellow guests want the same.
Lots of people come to Lakeside Melodies for the nice peaceful
surroundings and tranquility.
For that reason we ask all our guests to keep the volume of
the radio/cdplayer and television at a level that is not disturbing
to other guests.
After 10 pm at night we kindly ask you to keep from making too
much noise outside, so children can sleep.

Camp fire
Camp
fires are fun! Near our beach area you will find a special camp
fire spot. The Folk Cottage has it's own camp fire spot. The
camp fire spot near the beach is available to all our guests.
You can ask Bill if there is any wood available, there might
be some stacked next to the camp fire or you can pick up sticks
in the woods.
A few remarks:
* Don't leave young children alone at the fire.
* Stay with your fire and keep an eye on it to make sure it
is safe.
* Make sure when you leave, that the fire is over and the situation
is safe. |
