Information for campers

Camping is possible during the 6th Annual Southwest Michigan Dulcmer & Folk Festival. There is a big grassy field in front of the Music Hall of Lakeside Melodies, that can hold several motor homes, campers or tents. Last year we had several campers out there. Since the resort is not a campground, facilities are very modest, but people seemed to be enjoying themselves quite well.

You have many possibilities for this festival!
We give you a few options:

- For the outdoorsy types: camp in a motor home at the grassy fields.
- If you want more privacy: book a cottage and have your own bathroom, shower, tv, cd-player and the comfort of your own house. The cottages sleep 6-8 people.
- Rent the boats ($ 20 per day) and make this festival weekend into a nice fishing weekend as well. Little Pleasant Lake is known for it's good fishing. Catch your fresh bass or perch and put it on the camp fire!

Facilities


What can we
offer you?

Frankly, very little. Lakeside Melodies Resort is not a campground, but a resort with cottages. The facilities consist of:

- A large grassy field to put up tents
campers and motor homes.

- Bathrooms at the Music Hall. The building will be open 24 hours with both men's and women's facilities. No showers.

- The resort facilities such as swimming, ball games, etc.

- A close spot to the festival. You barely have to walk at all.

- The opportunity to jam with other campers or those at the resort.
