Fishing and Lakes
Fishing Information
Fishing on Little Pleasant Lake is one of the main draws to Lakeside Melodies. The lake is a 30 acre, no wake lake that can be easily rowed across or you are welcome to bring a trolling motor to move around the lake. For a smaller sized lake, it is still 45 feet deep in the middle and is rimmed by a shallow area, followed by a deep drop off. The lake is filled with plenty of Blue Gills, Crappy, Perch, and Large Mouth Bass. A few other fish show up occasionally. Since there is no public access site on the lake, the only people fishing on the lake are from Lakeside Melodies or the one other house on the lake. Within just a few miles, there are five larger lakes and a few other small lakes. Bring your own boat and you can fish a different lake each day! You can find out more about fishing in the area by going to the Pure Michigan website.
